Thanksgiving Weekend 2012

Look what arrived on Friday evening…

We only got one cord this year. Since I put away 2 cord by myself last year, I assured Cory that he would have no trouble handling this little pile of wood. For some reason, he does not seem enthused.

We’ve been getting lots of rainy weather lately, but we got some sun yesterday and today.

The garden is pretty much finished for the year. Aside from one orange cherry that isn’t ready to quite, the tomatoes are pretty much finished.

I actually managed to grow a few peppers this year.

And, as usual, a bumper crop of carrots. Somehow, the carrots never fail me.

Yesterday I went  out to bring in the bounty.

Anybody want a carrot?

Still watching birds at our feeders – just saw one on the peanut wreath feeder for the first time the other day. This was taken through the window.

Then today I actually happened to catch on in the globe feeder while I was standing in the driveway.

Pretty little fellas.

Good night from Frank & Zappa!

The wood is in, does that mean Cory is heading back to Japan?
